About this part

This is a blower motor control module, the electronic speed controller that replaces the resistor block on cars with automatic climate control. Instead of fixed steps it pulses the motor, so the fan runs smoothly from barely moving to full speed. The module is the sealed unit with the connector socket and the finned aluminium heat sink that sits in the air stream behind the glovebox, exactly as photographed here.
