How Fob Auto Parts Turns Every Custom Package into a Silent Brand Ambassador —6-part series

Client-Exclusive Brand Libraries

For distributors running a private-label programme, continuity is currency. The moment your fuel-filter colorbox looks slightly different between the 2024 shipment and the 2026 shipment, a wholesaler asks a question —and questions cost sell-through.

At Fob Auto Parts, every package we produce is filed inside the customer's own private brand library, indexed by:

  • Brand
  • Product category
  • SKU
  • Market / region

A fuel-filter colorbox for one overseas distributor sits under its own library; a clutch-pump colorbox for another partner sits under a completely separate one. No cross-contamination, no shared files, no accidental design bleed.

The two-year test

Two years from now, when a customer wants to reorder or update a design, we do not start from a blank canvas. We:

  1. Open the exact source file —Illustrator / CorelDraw / PDF, versioned.
  2. Respect the exact CMYK values —same Pantone match, same printer profile.
  3. Quote against the exact dieline —same box dimensions, same paperboard grammage, same finish.

This continuity is invaluable for distributors building a house brand across multiple regions: it protects consistency, and it makes reorders effortless.

Design Draft Encyclopedia —Filed by Client

Every packaging job is filterable by design number, product category, client, brand, designer and current handler.

What this replaces

Compare this to the typical alternative:

Traditional supplier Fob Auto Parts
"Can you resend the artwork?" (client hunts) Design pulled by SKU in seconds
Colour drift on reorder CMYK values locked in library
Dieline redrawn each time Dieline reused from library
Multiple designers touching your brand One brand library, versioned

For distributors, the brand library is not a nice-to-have —it is the reason your house brand still looks like a house brand three years in.
